Welcome to 3rd grade! My name is Emily Langner. This is my second year teaching and my first year teaching third grade. I am so excited to be a part of the third grade team. Previously I taught first grade here at Semmes Elementary. I grew up across the bay in Spanish Fort. In 2017 I graduated from Spanish Fort High School. Following high school I moved to Mobile to pursue my degree in Elementary Education. I graduated from the University of South Alabama in May 2021 with my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. Something interesting about me is that I coached tumbling for 7 years and absolutely loved it. This is where my love for working with children started which eventually inspired me to become a teacher. I also have three cats (Elvis, Kitty, and May). I am looking forward to an amazing year in 3rd grade!
